The lines along the Kögelsteig are an entertaining shortcut for freeriders along ski slope 3, men's descent. If you ski down the men's slope from the Olympiabahn mountain station for approx. 100m, the ski slope makes a distinctive right-hand bend. Here you look for a way around the small rock head and follow the ridge straight ahead to the north (Kögelsteig in summer). After a few meters along the ridge, the first freeride lines appear. Short but entertaining, you come back to the piste after about 120 meters in altitude.
In the middle section of the entire area, stones and rocks can still peek out when there is little snow. If there is enough snow, you can easily ski over them.
This run can be incorporated wonderfully if you are on your way to the freeride runs on the Pleisen.
Maximum slope inclination up to 35°
In the middle section up to over 40°
Difference in altitude: 120 m
